"A Local Family-Run Business"Andrews Greengrocers are a local family-run business based in Holmfirth, Huddersfield who are passionate about providing our customers with local produce. The business, originally called Dorothys, has come along way since its humble beginnings dating back to 1974. The business originally started up less than 5 miles away from Holmfirth in a small village called Holmbridge. Dorothys Greengrocers was owned by present-day owner Andrew Bray's mother Dorothy Brooke. Dorothys Greengrocers moved to the premises in Holmfirth at 72 Huddersfield Rd, Holmfirth, HD9 3AZ but with the growth of the business Dorothys re-located to a premises less than 20 meters away, 64 Huddersfield Road, HD9 3AZ. In the 1980s, with Dorothys son taking over the business, Dorothys rebranded to what's now known as Andrews Greengrocers. Today, Andrews Greengrocers prides themselves for their wide selection of fresh fruit and veg boxes, alongside a whole host of available extra’s, they provide you and your family with all the ingredients to a healthy, nutritious lifestyle.
